UPCOMING FENCING COMPETITIONS/2011
After winning a National Competition in October 2009....I had tweaked my back in that competition and so I went to a chiropractor in Hamilton who was listed on the Canadian Sport Canada Ontario website as treatment would be paid for me by them.  Instead, of helping me, he severely injured me...rupturing discs in my back, tearing my back muscles, injuring my SIjoints...had to go to emergency.  The Neurologist said that I should not fence again...and I was off fencing for over a year.  My road to recovery is still ongoing.

Hungarian Circuit/April 16th-6th-top Canadian
This was my first competition back after my chiropractor injury...then I was injured at a training camp after this competition...hand muscle was torn from blade being hit so hard by another fencer.  Had to compete in the following competitions with a very swollen hand.  Wish to thank the Chinese National Team for their accupuncture treatments, patches in trying to heal my hand.  Also the physiotherapist with the Italian National Team who worked on my hand in Shanghai.

Nankin, China/June 11th
